HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON MACBOOK WITH BOOTCAM ASSISTANT.  


     Hello, today we shall talk about something new today so many people have been asking us to put up a tutorial on how to install Windows on MacBook. To some people, it is not possible, or some ear it as a myth but in this tech era everything is possible and, in this article, we shall be installing windows on MacBook using Bootcamp assistance. 




   Installing windows on mac is less expensive because you won't need to buy another computer to run windows there you can have your mac and window on one computer. Today we shall walk you through a step-by-step guide on how to install windows on a MacBook without loss of files.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON MAC USING BOOTCAM ASSISTANT.

·         Click on launchpad on your dock menu and double click on utilities.



·         Next on the utilities window locate and launch the bootcamp Assistant




·         On the Bootcamp assistant wizard click on continue.



·         On the next windows that appears you will have to select a task check the check box that says download the latest windows support from apple. And secondly tick on install windows now click on continue.




·         Th next will ask you were to save the window support software for your windows choose where you want to save it either to a CD/DVD or external storage device. After confirming click on continue.




·         Confirm on the next window by clicking on save and continue.




·         On the next windows that appear you will have to wait for the window support software to be download from apple server. Not that it will be downloaded to the location you choose wait for a couple of minutes depending on your internet speed. 





·         Once the download Is completed a partition window will surface all you have to do drag the window partition to a desire storage you need or click on the option that says divide equally. Make sure you have inserted your DVD installation media then click continue.



·         The next window will partition your hard drive in to two creating a bootcamp partition for your windows.  

·         Once partitioning is complete your mac will restart make sure to press and hold down option (ALT) KEY before your mac menu Infront of you will need to select the window boot option having a disc icon.  

·         Your mac will load the windows installation file you will have to wait for a moment.



·         Once file loading is finished you will need to choose your language and keyboard setting and click on next and select install windows.

·         Click on the check box and click on next then select custom installation and click next.

·         A partition window will surface now select the Bootcamp partition you see and format it then clicks on next for the file to be copied to your hard drive seat and wait while windows files are being copied to your HDD.


·         Note that your mac will restart several times make sure to always hold down the option key or ALT key to enter the boot menu and select window boot device.




·         Once installation is complete your window is now installed and ready to boot.

·         Once you can boot to window, plug in your external drive containing the window support software from apple launch the setup and follow the wizard to install all windows driver.

·         Once driver is installed your window is ready.





To boot back to mac, go to your task bar and click on the arrow and click small square icon that says bootcamp and right click and choose restart in mac that all.





   CONCLUTION.

Note that to always switch from one window to another you need to restart your Mac and press the option keys or alt key. On the boot menu that appears choose your desired OS and it will boot for mac you choose EFI and for windows, you choose WINDOWS. But the default boot OS is your MAC OS X.
