on lower MacBook computers. Most computer user today have become so use to
window OS such that installing MAC OS is a myth for some people. So today we shall
be walking you guys on a step by step guide on how to install MacBook operating
system. So, follow our guide till the end and you shall be able to install
MacBook operating system no matter which version you have at your disposal.
STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO INSTALL MACBOOK
OPERATING SYSTEM.
To be able to install mac operating system
we be needing the following requirement.
REQUIREMENT.
v 8GB/16GB FLASH DRIVE.
v MACBOOK OS DMG OR ISO.
v TRANSMAC.
Once you have all the
required tools mansion above then you are good to start following the point
ahead. For better understanding, we shall insert picture at each level for a
better understanding.
Ø To
begin you will need a mac OS bootable drive to do this you have to launch
Transmac to make your flash drive bootable.
Ø Open transmac software inserts your flash drive now on the transmc windows go to your flash drive right-click on it and select format disk for mac.
Ø Once
you have done the above steps the next step is to right-click again and select
restore with disc image. Make sure you run it as Admin.
Ø In
the next window you need to select your IOS iso file and click ok. The bootable
process will begin all you have to do is sit and wait for it to finish.
Ø Once
you see the completion message on the screen unplug your flash drive from your
window computer and plug it in your MacBook you want to re-install.
Ø Once
your flash drive is on your MacBook computer power on your MacBook while
pressing ALT
(option) key. A boot menu will appear you will have to select
your flash drive or EFI DRIVE.
Ø An
apple icon will surface wait for the utilities to appear.
Ø After
the booting is complete you will have MAC OS X utilities now click on disk
utility.
Ø Once
you are on the utility windows, click on your hard drive. You will have optionss
bound to your hard drive such as first Aid, Erase, Raid, Restore. Using this
option should depend on your hard drive status for example in the article we
shall only shoes erase.
Ø On
the Erase windows you will need to format your disk. To do this, you will need
to select your format option as Mac OS Extended (journaled) then you renamed it as MACINTOUCH.
Ø The next option is the partition you may need to partition your disk by using the disk partitional
Ø In
this article we won’t be portioning our HDD so we move forward by closing the
utility window and click on Reinstall mac OS X.
Ø On
the next window click on continue, click on agree then confirm to the term of
the software license and agreement by clicking agree again to move forward.
Ø Now
on the disk selection menu click on your hard drive and take install then click
on continue.
Ø The
preparation to install mac will start all you have to do is sit and wait as
the copying process will take some time note that your mac will restart several
times.
Ø After
the preparation steps is completed your pc will restart automatically then the
installation of Mac OS will continue right after the restart.
Ø All
you have to do is wait for a couple of some minutes for the installation to
complete
Ø You
shall see a message INSTALL SUCCEEDED.
Ø Once
you see this message click on restart and wait for your MacBook to restart.
Ø After
the mac has reboot you will have to select your country and also choose your region and keyboard layout.
Ø You
might also choose to configure your PC using WI-FI to do this select your WI-FI
then and click continue but if you are using WI-FI then click continue and
click continue again.
Ø The
next window will ask you transfer your information to your mac you will need to
choose from the options but in this tutorial, we shall be selecting DON’T
TRANFER NOW and click continue
Ø The
next window will urge you to insert your registration information fill
everything and click continue.
Ø The
next page will need you to create your computer account. And click continue
when done you will also need to select your account picture and click continue.
Ø Set
your time zone and click continue then you have a than you screen and click on
start Using Lion.
Ø Boom
your MAC OS X Is installed.
