 CUSTOM RECOVERY.

We can say our smartphones has a firmware known as recovery. Img this firmware is what help us to boot our device in to recovery to perform hard reset when our device is stock on password or pattern. But when we talk of custom recovery, it is a third-party application that still perform the same task as the original recovery that come with your device (stock recovery) but this particular program has additional features not found in your original stock recovery. For example, custom recoveries often have the ability to backup current system and also create and restore device backups. This is what allow you to install custom firmware’s (ROM) to our smartphones.  And example of such a program is known as Twrp recovery which you get it from the playstore.

 CUSTOM FIRMWARE’S (ROM).

Custom rom are android system not build by the original phone manufactures. They are simply android system created by developers. We have been hearing people talking about custom rom’s and we don’t know what they mean by that that why many people using android smart phone will never come across custom roms except for experience technicians that will wan to increase the performance of their android system and also unlock many features by installing custom rom. The term ROM stand for read only memory but it has nothing to do with what is known as a custom rom. A custom android is just a firmware which is based on google android system platform. As we all know android is an open source therefor any developer and edit the codes rebuild it to his test, recompile and release to defferent android system out there. Some of this roms when install they change our device appearance and even behavior due to the fact it has been edited. Custom roms are available for all types of devices running the android OS. We have some few examples like lineage OS Cyanogen Mod OS, AOKP and many more.
