WHAT IS FACTORY RESET PROTECTION (FRP)
Android factory Reset Protection (FRP) is new security
feature found in some resent smart phones that runs from Android OS 5.1 (lollipop)
OS 6.0(Marshmallow) OS 7.0 ( Nougat) OS 8.0 ( Oreo) OS 9 (pie) OS 10 (Q’S)
and android 11(Beta) FRP prevent other people from using your smart phone or
performing a factory reset without your knowledge. There for your device is only
going to hang on the level because the device has the owner Gmail address which
is present in the device. This security
option which is found in most recent device today is enabled by default, luckily
or sad to say that this FRP security cannot be remove remotely, there for it
become a little bit more tough to remove on some device.
HOW TO PREVENT DEVICE FROM STOCKING ON FRP LOCK.
To
prevent your device from landing in such a situation, the following must be
completed before a factory reset is done.
IF your lock screen is a finger print, pattern,
pin, or password you need to remove it completely the steps to remove might be
differ as per device.
- Go to
Settings.
- Select
Security or Lock Screen Security.
- Select
Screen Lock.
- You can Change
the Screen Lock to Swipe or None. Some devices will warn you that device
protection will be removed upon making this change, so make sure to confirm
that choice.
STEP 2: Google Account Must Be Remove from The Device You Need WIFI Or
Data To Complete This Process.
- Go to
Settings.
- Select
Accounts.
- Select
Google.
- Select
the email address for the account you want to remove (if you only have
one, this will already be showing).
- Select
the three “dots” at the top right of the screen (it might say “more” on
Samsung devices instead of the three dots).
- Select
Remove Account and affirm the choice if a warning pops up.
- If
you have multiple Google accounts, repeat steps 4-6 for each one
Now if by chance your forgot to carry out all the steps or
